With more people using digital photos, many scrapbookers are also turning to digital scrapbooking. Digital scrapbooks allow you to create a scrapbook right on your computer using digital photos you copied from your camera. You no longer need to print the photos to scrapbook them.
Of course, I still love to create traditional scrapbooks as I find I enjoy the creativity of laying out items on a page.

The ease of digital is definitely a draw. But I totally agree that there is always going to be the need for a scrapbooker to cropping in person.
